Entitlements

Access lists allow you to define reusable groups of individuals and organization nodes for the purposes of restricting access to one or more items. Items that have an access list assigned to them are only available to users that are defined in that access list. Refer to Access Lists for additional information on Access Lists.

An adhoc catalog item is a collection of print products and finishing options that are packaged and made available to the end user for convenience. Refer to Adhoc.

Order Approval Rules are a means of controlling what types of orders require review. Refer to Approval Rules.

This entitlement allows users to restrict which images from the Image Library the user has access to in the Wizard ordering process. Refer to Picture Box.

Branding logos are a means of allowing you to change the logo displayed at the top of each page. Refer to Branding Logos.

Catalog Categories is a logical grouping used to enable Marketing and Administrative personnel to group items in such as a fashion as to make it easier for end users to recognize and find the products they seek. Refer to Catalog Categories.

Configuration of color options for the Designer and Wizard are located in the Colors view.

The contact view contains user information for contacts in the system. Refer to User Management.

The datafeed feature allows Administrators to upload a mapped spreadsheet containing user and catalog information into the system. Refer to Bulk User Upload and Catalog Item Import.

Items deleted in the database are stored in the Deleted Objects view.

Print vendor requirements and information on the order item content is included in the distribution package.

Distribution Rules allows Administrators to determine how Order Items should be grouped and transmitted to Vendors for fulfillment. Refer to Distribution Rules.

Fonts can be uploaded from packages uploaded from InDesign or via the process captured in the Fonts section.

Users can manage document and branding images that have been uploaded to the system with the entitlements below.

The import functionality allows users to import supported files into the system. Refer to Import Packages and Personalized Items.

Orders transmitted to a vendor generates an entry in the ledger. Refer to Ledger.

Mailing lists are groupings of individual prospects. Refer to Mailing Lists.

Administrators can configure approval and rejection alerts for catalog and order items. Refer to Alerts.

The Metrics page allows you to get a quick snapshot of the top performing products (catalog items) in ContentWelder. Refer to Metrics.

Users with this entitlement can restart builds for documents that have been ordered.

Order Items are the individual line items in an order. Order Items consist of the various catalog items, previews, finishing options, distribution channel etc. Refer to Order Items.

Orders placed can be viewed as individual line items in the Orders view. Refer to Order Items.

Organization levels allow you to replicate a company command structure within ContentWelder. Refer to Organization Hierarchy.

Organization nodes allow you to replicate a company command structure within ContentWelder. Refer to Organization Nodes.

A "Personalized" catalog item is a variable document that can be configured by the user. Refer to Personalized documents.

Print On Demand catalog items are digitally stored static content made available to the end user for ordering, for the intent of print or web distribution. Refer to Print On Demand.

Choosing the print options for your uploaded document is how users will configure how the document will be printed and finished. Refer to Choosing Print Options.

Special Instructions are tied to the AdHoc module. These instructions are a way for the Orderer to provide additional instructions to print operators regarding how a job should be handled. Refer to Special Instructions.

Slide shows or banners are images, videos or text blurbs that can be added to communicate to your end user community. Refer to Banners.

Reference data values can be categorized in the system. Refer to Reference Data.

Reference Data is a way for configuration options to be maintained from the dashboard. This can include values to populate some drop-downs and other key-value pair options. Refer to Reference Data.

With entitlements users can create roles that meet the functional areas of your company. Refer to Recommended Roles.

Character and paragraph styles can be added to the system via an InDesign package import or they can be manually added. Refer to Styles.

Text copy allows users to add reusable content such as disclaimers or footer text to the system for use in documents.

Administrators can add users to the system via a bulk upload user action. Refer to Bulk User Upload.

The entitlements in this group can be used to manage new users who register for access to ContentWelder.

Vendors are external organizations who are responsible for producing items generated in the Global Document Portal. Refer to Vendors.

A shared widget is a layout definition that can be re-used in one or more documents. Refer to Shared Widgets.
